Softball Recap: Palmer Takes a Loss

Palmer came into their game on Wednesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 13-7 to the Chicopee Comp Colts. The Panthers have struggled against the Colts recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost meeting.

Anna King was cooking despite her team's loss, going 1-for-3 with two stolen bases, one run, and one RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Brookelyn Peloquin, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with two stolen bases and one run.

Palmer's loss dropped their record down to 8-11. As for Chicopee Comp, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-14 record this season.

As of now, neither Palmer nor Chicopee Comp have any future games scheduled.
