Basketball Recap: Petrolia Takes a Loss

Petrolia was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat. They fell 68-59 to the Windthorst Trojans. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Pirates this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 56-35 back in December of 2024.

Petrolia's loss dropped their record down to 5-13. As for Windthorst, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 15-8.

Coincidentally, both will both be playing Nocona the next time they take the court. Windthorst will host Nocona at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, while Petrolia will head out to face them at 7:30 p.m. on January 28th.
