Football Game Preview: Mastery Warrior vs. Haddon Township Hawks

The Mastery Warrior are taking a road trip to square off against the Haddon Township Hawks at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with five consecutive losses for Mastery and seven for Haddon Township dating back to last season.

Mastery came into this matchup off a tough 33-point loss last Friday. This time they kept things ultra-competitive, but unfortunately the final result was the same. They fell just short of Wildwood by a score of 21-18 on Saturday.

Meanwhile, Haddon Township fell victim to Collingswood and their airtight defense last Friday. They were beaten by the Panthers 36-0. While losing is never fun, the Hawks can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' New Jersey football rankings (they are ranked 321st, while the Panthers are ranked 157th).

Mastery's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Haddon Township, their loss dropped their record down to 0-4.

Mastery took a serious blow against Haddon Township in their previous matchup back in October of 2024, falling 34-0. Can the Warrior avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
