Basketball Recap: Brebeuf Jesuit Preparatory Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Brebeuf Jesuit Preparatory can now relate to. They took a 51-39 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Danville Warriors on Friday. The Braves have struggled against the Warriors recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive lost matchup.

Danville's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Maddy Wethington, who posted 13 points and four steals. That's the most steals Wethington has posted since back in November of 2024. Addison Davis was another key player, dropping a double-double on 12 points and 11 rebounds.

Brebeuf Jesuit Preparatory's loss dropped their record down to 13-11. As for Danville, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 19-5.

Brebeuf Jesuit Preparatory does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Danville, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 69-55 win against Tri-West Hendricks on the 8th.
