Soccer Game Preview: High Tech CV vs. High Tech NC

The High Tech CV Bruins will venture away from home to face off against the High Tech NC Raptor at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday. High Tech CV's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for three straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

High Tech CV is likely headed into the contest with a focus on the second half, which is when things went downhill against Sweetwater on Friday. High Tech CV lost 3-0 to Sweetwater. While losing is never fun, the Bruins can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 511th, while the Red Devils are ranked 141st).

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask High Tech NC). They put the hurt on Army-Navy with a sharp 5-1 win on Thursday. The team's explosion on offense also rewarded the Raptor with their most commanding win of the season.

High Tech CV now has a losing record at 2-3. As for High Tech NC, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-1-2.

High Tech CV beat High Tech NC by a goal in their previous meeting back in February, winning 4-3. The rematch might be a little tougher for High Tech CV since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
