Meanwhile, Mercy Career & Technical waltzed into their game on Wednesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They came out on top against the Wolves by a score of 38-26. Given Mercy Career & Technical's advantage in MaxPreps' basketball rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 298th in Pennsylvania, while Foundation Collegiate Academy is ranked 600th in New Jersey), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Pine Forge Academy better keep an eye on Taji Stewart. He was instrumental in Mercy Career & Technical's win, putting up 18 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Anthony Caple, who posted ten points.

Pine Forge Academy's loss dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Mercy Career & Technical, their victory bumped their record up to 6-1.
