Baseball Recap: Mingus Takes a Loss

Mingus was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They came up short against the Bradshaw Mountain Bears, falling 13-3. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bears this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 4-3 on March 10th.

Mingus saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Carter Wacker, who scored a run while going 2-for-3.

Mingus' record is now 4-11-1. As for Bradshaw Mountain, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six games. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-3 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Mingus will challenge Flagstaff at 3:45 p.m. on Monday. As for Bradshaw Mountain, they will square off against Poston Butte at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
