Jasper had to skate by with only a two-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the six-run drubbing they dealt Cullman on Tuesday. The Vikings blew past the Bearcats 6-0. The  win was familiar territory for the Vikings, who have now won four  contests in a row.
Not much got past  Lily Banks, who gave up just  four  hits and racked up six Ks to keep Cullman off the board.
 At the plate,  Lexi Kilgore and  Emma Lou Franks did most of the damage at the plate:  Kilgore  went 2-for-4 with three  RBI, one  run,  and one  double, while  Franks  went 3-for-4 with three  runs and one  double. That's the most  hits  Franks has posted since back in February. Another player making a difference was  America Montgomery, who  went 2-for-4 with two  stolen bases and two  runs.
Jasper's victory bumped their record up to 18-9. As for Cullman,  they are  on  a  three-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 4-11.
 Jasper has already played their next match,  a  7-6  loss against Hueytown on the 10th. As for Cullman, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next  game,  a  4-1  defeat against Hayden on the 11th.
