Yankton faced Brandon Valley in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Tuesday. The Bucks/Gazelles won by a goal and slipped past the Lynx 2-1. The victory was familiar territory for Yankton, who have now won five matches in a row.

Yankton's win bumped their record up to 6-2-1. As for Brandon Valley, their loss was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 3-5.
