Preview: Arroyo Grande vs. Independence
Arroyo Grande will be defending their home turf for the first time on Friday when they go up against Independence at 4:15 PM. It might come down to the wire as the game is expected to be close.
It's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 3-40, which was the final score in Arroyo Grande's tilt against Helix last Friday.
Meanwhile, it could have been worse for Independence, but it could have been a whole lot better too, as the team fell 0-16 to Selma last week.
With both teams hitting sour notes in their previous games, they will no doubt be looking to produce a better score. Neither of those teams managed to put together many points in their previous contest, so their meeting could be a low-scoring affair.
