Flag Football Recap: River Islands Comes Up Short

River Islands fought the good fight in their overtime matchup against Millennium on Thursday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They were just a hair shy of victory and fell 21-20 to the Falcons. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Falcons this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 20-7 on October 7th.

River Islands' defeat dropped their record down to 8-10. As for Millennium, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-7 record this season.

As of now, neither River Islands nor Millennium have any future games scheduled.
