Vardaman kept a clean sheet against Independence on Tuesday. Everything went their way against the Independence Wildcats as they made off with an 8-0 win. The result was nothing new for the Rams, who have now won four matchups by four goals or more so far this season.

Vardaman's victory bumped their record up to 5-2. As for Independence, they are on an eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-8.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Vardaman will take on Shannon at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Independence, they will square off against Coahoma County at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
