Softball Game Preview: Ashton-Franklin Center Raiders vs. Rochelle Hubs

The Ashton-Franklin Center Raiders will challenge the Rochelle Hubs at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. Ashton-Franklin Center has given up an average of 12.2 runs per game this season, but Saturday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Ashton-Franklin Center is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to 14 runs on Tuesday, they were much more limited against Newark on Friday. They came up short against the Norsemen, falling 19-2.

Meanwhile, Rochelle came up short against Ottawa on Wednesday and fell 7-3.

Rochelle has also been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last eight games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-19 record this season. As for Ashton-Franklin Center, their defeat was their tenth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 3-28.
