Power Center Academy has been on the road for four straight, but on Tuesday they'll finally head home. They will take on the Ridgeway Roadrunners at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Power Center Academy will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Tennessee Rankings (they are ranked 105th, while the Roadrunners are ranked 18th).
Power Center Academy pushed their score all the way to 61 on Thursday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They took a 72-61 hit to the loss column at the hands of Ridgeway. That's two games in a row now that Power Center Academy has lost by exactly 11 points.
Power Center Academy's defeat came about despite a quality game from Nazir Allen, who dropped a double-double on 14 points and 17 rebounds. Allen is crushing the rebound category: he's posted at least eight every time he's taken the court this season. Cayden Black was another key contributor, scoring 16 points.
Power Center Academy's loss dropped their record down to 13-8. As for Ridgeway, the win (which was their 11th in a row) raised their record to 17-5.
