Springfield put another one in the bag on Saturday to keep their perfect season alive. They took down the Haverford Fords 35-21. For the Cougars, this counts as revenge for the 21-13 victory the Fords walked away with the last time they faced one another back in October of 2024.

Springfield's win bumped their record up to 7-0. As for Haverford, the defeat snapped their winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 5-2 record.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Springfield is set to take on their familiar foe Radnor at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Haverford will face off against rival Ridley at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have allowed few points on average (the Fords 14.3, the Raiders 7.9) so any points scored will be well earned.
