Soccer Game Preview: East Rowan vs. West Rowan

East Rowan is 0-10 against West Rowan since March of 2019 but things could change on Friday. The East Rowan Mustangs will host the West Rowan Falcons at 6:00 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

East Rowan is headed into Friday's match looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their fifth straight game on Monday. They came up short against South Rowan, falling 5-1. The Mustangs were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 3-0.

Their goal came courtesy of Mariah Lawing, which was the first she's scored this season.

Meanwhile, West Rowan was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 10-3 to Northwest Cabarrus.

West Rowan's defeat dropped their record down to 0-6-1. As for East Rowan, their loss dropped their record down to 0-5.
