It may have taken ten innings to finish the job, but Prosper ultimately got the result they hoped for on Saturday. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past Allen 4-3. Prosper hasn't had any issues with Allen recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.

Prosper now has a winning record of 11-10-1. As for Allen, their defeat ended a five-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 18-7.

Prosper and Allen should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Texas Rankings. The Eagles will take on Princeton at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday with a big rank advantage (245 vs. 828). Meanwhile, Allen (ranked 24th) will meet McKinney Boyd (ranked 243rd) at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
