Weaver is a perfect 3-0 against Ranburne since April of 2017 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. The Bearcats will face off against the Bulldogs at 5:00 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Weaver saw some tournament action on Friday. They came up short against Lincoln, falling 10-1.

Weaver saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ali Anderson, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one RBI.

Fans were treated to a battle of the Bulldogs on Saturday. Ranburne lost 11-4 to Ashville. Ranburne has struggled against Ashville recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost meeting.

Ranburne's loss dropped their record down to 10-12. As for Weaver, their defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 8-8.

Weaver took their win against Ranburne in their previous matchup back in March of 2024 by a conclusive 7-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Bearcats since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
