Soccer Recap: Westwood Takes a Loss

Westwood lost against Buford on April 3rd, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Redhawks came up short against the Yellow Jackets, falling 4-1. Westwood have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Their goal came courtesy of Matthew Muller, who's now up to two this season.

Westwood's loss dropped their record down to 2-20. As for Buford, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-5 record this season.

Westwood wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next match, a 7-0 defeat against Spring Valley on the 29th. As for Buford, they are taking a road trip to challenge Chester at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Buford are facing Chester at the right time seeing as Chester are stuck on a seven-game losing streak.
