Brock Felt Tops All Others This Week

Starting off the list is Sierra's Brock Felt, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Felt's rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his third straight game with at least 105 rushing yards dating back to last season. He showed off some serious burst, turning on the afterburners on one carry for 61 yards.

The defeat snapped Sierra's losing streak at five games and leaves them with a 5-2 record. Felt and Sierra will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Patterson at 7:00 p.m. on October 18th.

A Season-Best Effort from Royale Tago Leads Patterson over Mountain House

Patterson was led to victory by Royale Tago, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Friday. Tago picked up three sacks and made six total tackles.

Patterson now has a winning record of 4-3. Tago and Patterson are taking a road trip to face off against Oakdale at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Big Game from Burford As Oakdale Won 42-24

Wes Burford's big game helped extend Oakdale's winning streak to five on Friday. Burford was dynamite, rushing for 160 yards and a touchdown. His rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his sixth straight game with at least 143 rushing yards dating back to last season.

Unfortunately for East Union, this isn't the first big game they've seen from Burford. Back in October of 2023 (the last time Burford saw the Lancers), he rushed for 135 yards and three touchdowns on only 13 carries.

Kaden Ransohoff Turns in Season-Best Performance

Mountain House came up short on Friday despite Kaden Ransohoff delivering his best game to date. Ransohoff picked up 96 receiving yards and two touchdowns. He got the majority of those receiving yards when he pulled down a pass and took off for a gain of 74 yards.

Mountain House is on a nine-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-7. Ransohoff and Mountain House will face off against Manteca at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Gavin Wyatt and Co. Win Fifth in a Row

Gavin Wyatt was instrumental in extending Oakdale's winning streak to five on Friday. East Union had no answer to Wyatt as he rushed for 65 yards and a touchdown on only five carries, and also picked up 60 receiving yards and a touchdown.

For the season, Wyatt has caught 3 touchdowns while averaging 20.8 receiving yards per game.
