Basketball Recap: North Community Extends Winning Streak to Eight

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask North Community). They blew past the Roosevelt Teddies, posting a 79-12 victory. Given the Polars' advantage in MaxPreps' Minnesota basketball rankings (they are ranked 89th, while the Teddies are ranked 330th), the result on Saturday wasn't entirely unexpected.

The win (which was North Community's eighth in a row) raised their record to 10-3. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 66.0 points per game. As for Roosevelt, their loss was their fifth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 6-11.

North Community does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Roosevelt, they will host Camden at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in Camden's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last three matchups.
