After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Cedar Park, Leander was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They put the hurt on the Lehman Lobos with a sharp 3-0 win. Given the Lions' advantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 262nd, while the Lobos are ranked 525th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Leander hit Lehman with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Lexie Winters, Hillary Brasseaux, and Kate Horvath.

The victory got Leander back to even at 9-9-4. As for Lehman, they are on a 12-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-12.

Leander wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next contest, an 8-0 defeat against Rouse on the 4th. As for Lehman, they also didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next game, a 6-0 loss against Liberty Hill on the 4th.
