Basketball Recap: River Ridge Makes It Nine in a Row on the Road

River Ridge put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. Everything went their way against the Pecatonica Vikings as the River Ridge Timberwolves made off with a 79-55 win. Fans of the Timberwolves have seen this all before: every one of the games they've played this season has ended in a blowout of 20+ points.

River Ridge pushed their record up to 4-0 with the victory, which was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 71.6 points per game. As for Pecatonica, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-2.

River Ridge will head out to challenge Wauzeka-Steuben at 7:15 p.m. on Monday. One thing working in River Ridge's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last three contests. As for Pecatonica, they will be home for the holidays to greet Weston at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
