Hiram has enjoyed a three-game homestand but will soon have to dust off their road jerseys. They will head out to take on the Southeast Whitfield County Raiders at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.

Last Wednesday, Hiram didn't have quite enough to beat Mt. Zion and fell 7-6.

Preseleigh Kimbrell and Cayleigh Parker did some serious damage despite the final result: Kimbrell scored a run while going 1-for-4, while Parker scored a run while getting on base in all four of her plate appearances. What's more, Parker also racked up two hits, the mostshe's had since back in September. Another player making a difference was Liliy Matinez, who scored a run while going 2-for-4.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Southeast Whitfield County). They came out on top against Christian Heritage by a score of 11-7 on Saturday. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Raiders as it put an end to their eight-game losing streak.

Hiram has been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-18 record this season. As for Southeast Whitfield County, their win bumped their record up to 2-22.

Hiram took their victory against Southeast Whitfield County in their previous matchup back in September by a conclusive 12-4. The rematch might be a little tougher for Hiram since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
