Baseball Recap: East Hartford Takes a Loss

East Hartford couldn't beat Hartford Magnet Trinity College Academy on Saturday even though they stacked four runs on them in the second inning. The Hornets took a 7-4 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Phoenix. The Hornets' loss continues a trend for the team, making it four in a row.

East Hartford's defeat dropped their record down to 3-5. As for Hartford Magnet Trinity College Academy, their victory was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 4-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. East Hartford will face off against Farmington at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. The Hornets are facing the River Hawks at the right time seeing as the River Hawks are stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Hartford Magnet Trinity College Academy, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Academy of Aerospace and Engineering at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
