Volleyball Recap: Reavis Takes a Loss

Reavis lost against Lemont back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Rams took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Lemont HS. The Rams have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

The final score came out to 25-20, 25-8.

Weronika Kurnat paced Reavis' offense, picking up five kills. Kurnat got some help from Quetzalli Pichardo-Aich and her 12 assists.

Reavis' loss dropped their record down to 9-11. As for Lemont, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 17-9 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Reavis is set to take on their familiar foe Oak Forest at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Lemont will face off against rival Bremen at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
