Volleyball Recap: Sealy Comes Up Short

Sealy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Needville Bluejays. If the Tigers were looking for revenge after losing 3-1 to the Bluejays when the teams met back in October of 2023, then they'll just have to keep looking.

The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 25-21.

Sealy's defeat dropped their record down to 7-7. As for Needville, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 12 of their last 13 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 20-3 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Sealy will face off against Bellville at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Needville, they will challenge Fort Bend Dulles at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
