Softball Recap: Seeger Comes Up Short

Seeger was the 19-6 winner over Armstrong when they last played one another back in May of 2021, but their luck changed this time around. The Patriots lost 20-10 to the Trojans on Saturday. The Patriots have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Audra Pickett was cooking despite her team's loss, going 1-for-3 with two runs, one triple, and two RBI.

Seeger's defeat dropped their record down to 5-11. As for Armstrong, their victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 12-9.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Trojans beat Seeger by a score of 21-10 later that day.
