Baseball Game Preview: St. Vincent Indians vs. Meadow Heights Panthers

The St. Vincent Indians will head out to face off against the Meadow Heights Panthers at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. St. Vincent has a tough task ahead: they'll enter the match with six straight losses, while Meadow Heights will come in with six straight victories.

St. Vincent managed to slip by Oak Ridge the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Indians lost 9-0 to the Blue Jays on Monday.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Meadow Heights duked it out with Leopold on Monday. The Panthers walked away with a 7-3 win over the Wildcats.

Braeden Hays was incredible, going 2-for-3 with two runs, two doubles, and one stolen base. That's the most hits he has posted since back in April. Another player making a difference was Hayes Miller, who got on base in all four of his plate appearances with two runs.

Meadow Heights' victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 11-6. Those road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.5 runs on average over those games. As for St. Vincent, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-11.
