Soccer Recap: Maui Comes Up Short

Maui was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They were one goals away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the King Kekaulike Na Ali'i. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Sabers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 1-0 back in November.

Maui's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for King Kekaulike, the victory got them back to even at 2-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Maui will be home for the holidays to greet Kamehameha Maui at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. Kamehameha Maui will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Maui surely won't give up without a fight. As for King Kekaulike, they will welcome Baldwin at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
