Basketball Recap: Challis Comes Up Short on the Road Against Salmon + How To Watch

Challis kicked off their season on the road on Tuesday and hit a couple of potholes. They took a 45-38 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Salmon Savages. The Vikings were not able to make up for their defeat to the Savages from their previous meeting back in January.

Challis' loss came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Ramey Rhoades, who posted 15 points and seven boards. The team also got some help courtesy of Aiden Holladay, who shot 83% from the field en route to 11 points and five rebounds.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Challis will square off against Mackay at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Salmon, they will challenge Watersprings at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
