Baseball Recap: Parkway West Comes Up Short

Parkway West had lost four straight on the road, but on Wednesday they dropped their record down to 6-22 to make it five. They lost 7-1 to the Pacific Indians. The Longhorns were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Indians apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in April of 2023.

As for Pacific, they are on a roll lately: they've won 12 of their last 13 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-3 record this season. The result was nothing new for Pacific, who have now won ten contests by six runs or more so far this season.

For Pacific's part, their win was truly a team effort as six different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Gavin Haddox, who went 2-for-4 with two RBI and one run. That's the most RBI Haddox has posted since back in April. Hagen Hassell also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.

As of now, neither Parkway West nor Pacific have any future games scheduled.
