Highland faced Madison in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Saturday. The Rams lost 16-9 to the Bobcats. The Rams' defeat signaled the end of their 13-game winning streak.

Cannon Eddie was cooking despite his team's loss, getting on base in four of his five plate appearances with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. Cooper Colonel also deserves some recognition as he snagged his first stolen base of the season.

Highland's loss dropped their record down to 18-9. As for Madison, they are on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 13 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-9 record this season.
