            Football Preview: Sacred Heart Prep Gators vs. Los Gatos Wildcats        
        
		
        
        
            Sacred Heart Prep is preparing for their first  league matchup of the season  on Friday. They will head out on the road to  take on  the Los Gatos Wildcats  at 7:00  p.m. Sacred Heart Prep is coming into the  game hot, having won their last four games.
Last Friday, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, Sacred Heart Prep beat Carlmont 31-27. Given the Gators' advantage  in MaxPreps' California football rankings (they are ranked 216th, while the Scots are ranked 660th) , the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

 Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Sacred Heart Prep to victory, but perhaps none more so than   Nico Pollioni, who threw for 200 yards and a pair of  TDs while completing 76.9% of his passes. What's more,  Pollioni posted two  passing touchdowns, the most he's  had since back in November of 2024.  Cooper Karros helped  Pollioni out on the ground, rushing for 72 yards and one  touchdown on only seven carries.
Meanwhile, Los Gatos didn't have quite enough to beat Pittsburg on Friday and fell  30-27. The Wildcats have struggled against the Pirates recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.
 Sacred Heart Prep will have to contain  Callum Schweitzer as he made an impact in Los Gatos' last game. He threw for 259 yards and a pair of  TDs, and also rushed for 46 yards and two  scores. A healthy portion of  Schweitzer's aerial production (108 yards to be exact)  went to  Devonte Troutt, who also brought in a  receiving touchdown.
 Sacred Heart Prep's record is now 4-1. As for Los Gatos, they now  have a losing record of 2-3.
 Sacred Heart Prep was dealt a bruising  42-10 defeat at the hands of Los Gatos in their previous meeting  back in October of 2024. Can the Gators avenge their  loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
