Volleyball Recap: Mundelein Comes Up Short

Mundelein was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss dating back to last season. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Lake Zurich Bears. The Mustangs were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Bears apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in October of 2024.

Mundelein's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Lake Zurich, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-0.

Mundelein didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 victory against Wauconda on the 29th. Lake Zurich has also already played their next game (against Glenbrook North), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
