Softball Recap: Vestaburg Snaps Eight-Game Streak of Wins on the Road

The Vestaburg Wolverines came up short against the Central Montcalm Hornets on Monday, falling 8-1.

Vestaburg saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Megan Beetley, who went 2-for-3 with one run.

Vestaburg's defeat ended an eight-game streak of away wins and brought them to 14-3. As for Central Montcalm, the win snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 4-4 record.

While Vestaburg had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair will be back at it again later today.
