Baseball Game Preview: Cumby Trojans vs. Quitman Bulldogs

The Cumby Trojans will square off against the Quitman Bulldogs at 3:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with seven consecutive losses dating back to last season for Cumby and four for Quitman.

Cumby's tournament run continued when they took on Lone Oak on Thursday. Cumby lost 10-1 to Lone Oak.

Cumby saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Canyon Talley, who scored a run while going 1-for-2. Jayden Evans also deserves some recognition as he snagged his first stolen base of the season.

Meanwhile, Quitman came up short against Hawkins on Saturday, falling 11-1.

Quitman's loss dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Cumby, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-6.
