South Davidson and East Davidson are an even 5-5 against one another since December of 2017, but not for long. The Wildcats will head out on the road to challenge the Golden Eagles at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this matchup.

South Davidson can't be too happy about their upcoming road contest considering what happened when they opened their season away from home on Monday. They fell just short of Thales Academy Apex by a score of 46-44.

Meanwhile, East Davidson played a tough game on Tuesday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They lost 68-43 to Parkland. The Golden Eagles were down 52-32 at the end of the third quarter, and things only got worse from there.

South Davidson couldn't quite get it done against East Davidson in their previous matchup back in February as they fell 76-66. Can the Wildcats avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
