Softball Game Preview: Pine Valley Central Panthers vs. Randolph Cardinals

Pine Valley Central is 1-9 against Randolph since April of 2019 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Saturday. The Panthers will host the Cardinals at 11:30 a.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Pine Valley Central managed to slip by Cattaraugus-Little Valley the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Panthers came up short against the Timberwolves on Friday, falling 12-4. The Panthers just can't catch a break and have now endured three losses in a row.

Pine Valley Central saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Danica Farnham, who went 1-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and one double. Lily Hohl also deserves some recognition as she brought in her first RBI of the season.

Meanwhile, Randolph unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Tuesday. They lost 9-3 to Forestville Central.

Isabella Syracuse was cooking despite her team's loss, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one run, one double, and one RBI.

Pine Valley Central's defeat dropped their record down to 4-6. As for Randolph, their loss dropped their record down to 5-7.
