Basketball Recap: Lasalle-Peru Wins Going Away Against Morris

LaSalle-Peru won the last time they faced Morris and things went their way on Friday too. The LaSalle-Peru Cavaliers strolled past the Morris Redskins with points to spare, taking the game 67-52. The Cavaliers pushed the score to 56-30 by the end of the third, a deficit the Redskins cut but never quite recovered from.

LaSalle-Peru's win bumped their record up to 10-13. As for Morris, they dropped their record down to 7-14 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight at home.

LaSalle-Peru has already played their next game (against Kaneland), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Morris will head out to face off against Newark at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Newark is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 55.1 points per game this season.
