Volleyball Recap: Sulphur Springs Takes Loss Despite Strong Efforts from Kylee Harrison and Peyton Taylor

Sulphur Springs lost against Peaster on Thursday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Wildcats fell just short of the Greyhounds by a score of 2-1.

Sulphur Springs' loss came despite strong showings from Peyton Taylor and Kylee Harrison. Taylor had 11 digs and one assist, while Harrison had nine digs and two aces.

Peaster can attribute much of their success to Kyler Shirley, who had ten digs and three assists. Shirley has been hot recently, having posted ten or more digs the last three times she's played.

Sulphur Springs has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 11-6 record this season. As for Peaster, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 13-8.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Sulphur Springs will host Canton at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Peaster, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Brock at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
