The Elite Eagles fell on hard times earlier this season, but after back-to-back victories it seems like their luck might finally be changing. They blew past American, posting a 56-17 win on the road.

Emanual Daugherty II was a one-man wrecking crew for Elite as he threw for 305 yards and six touchdowns while completing 84.2% of his passes, and also rushed for 81 yards on only seven carries. Lemack Bellot did his part to keep the secondary busy, gaining 126 total yards.

Elite's victory bumped their record up to 3-5. As for American, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-7.

Elite does not have any more games scheduled as of now. American will be playing at home against Piedmont at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
