Baseball Game Preview: Worthington Christian Warriors vs. Northridge Vikings

The Worthington Christian Warriors will venture away from home to take on the Northridge Vikings at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday. Worthington Christian has given up an average of 7.2 runs per game this season, but Saturday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Worthington Christian came up short against West Jefferson on Thursday, falling 16-6. The Warriors haven't had much luck with the Roughriders recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

Meanwhile, Northridge got their first taste of in-conference action on Friday and they started things off strong. They walked away with a 7-2 victory over Utica.

Noah Mason was excellent, going 2-for-4 with three stolen bases, two RBI, and one run. Northridge is 3-1 when Mason posts two or more stolen bases, but 2-6 otherwise. Kash Reeves was another key player, going 2-for-3 with two runs.

Northridge's win bumped their record up to 5-7. As for Worthington Christian, they now have a losing record of 6-7.
