Baseball Recap: Snook Christian Academy Takes a Loss

Snook Christian Academy came into their game on Saturday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against Jackson Academy, falling 16-5. Snook Christian Academy was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Jackson Academy apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in March of 2024.

Snook Christian Academy saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Thad Scott, who scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-2. Scott also brought in an RBI, marking his first of the season. Another was Aaron Ashley, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one stolen base and one RBI.

The loss snapped Snook Christian Academy's winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 3-3 record. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.0 runs over those games. As for Jackson Academy, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

Snook Christian Academy has already played their next matchup, a 4-2 defeat against Escambia Academy on the 10th. As for Jackson Academy, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 14-2 win against Sparta Academy on the 10th.
