Western Reserve is 9-1 against Crestview since August of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Roughriders will look to defend their home court against the Cougars at 6:30 p.m. Crestview took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on Western Reserve, who comes in off a win.

Western Reserve took a loss when they played away from home on Monday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over Plymouth.

The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 25-6, 25-10.

Makayla Case was the offensive standout of the contest as she had eight digs and two assists. Lexi Mullins also deserves some recognition as she had her first kill of the season.

Western Reserve was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 15 aces. That's the most aces they've posted in their last seven matchups.

Meanwhile, Crestview unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-match winning streak on Tuesday. They came up short against St. Paul, falling 3-0. The shutout was out of character for the Cougars seeing as the last time the team failed to score was back in September.

Western Reserve's victory bumped their record up to 12-9. As for Crestview, their loss dropped their record down to 15-6.
