Volleyball Recap: Arlington Eagles vs. Kamiak Knights

Arlington won the last time they faced Kamiak, and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Arlington Eagles came out on top in a nail-biter against the Kamiak Knights , sneaking past 3-2. The win was nothing new for the Eagles as they're now sitting on four straight.

If you add up the scores from across all five sets (102-100) Arlington actually scored fewer points, but in the end it didn't matter. The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 17-25, 18-25, 25-22, 15-12.

Natalie Spelman had a dynamite game for Arlington, getting 29 digs and two aces. The team also got some help courtesy of Audrey Marsh, who had five digs and 30 assists.

Arlington is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight games, which provided a nice bump to their 13-5 record this season. As for Kamiak, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 10-12-1 record this season.

Arlington will venture away from home to face off against Everett at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Kamiak, they will host Jackson at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
