Volleyball Recap: Chelsea Takes a Loss

Chelsea lost against Swampscott back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Red Devils came up short against the Big Blue, falling 3-0. The Red Devils have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-12, 25-17, 25-17.

Leading Swampscott to victory were Marta Sirota and Hayden Haskell. Sirota had five digs and two aces, while Haskell had eight digs. Sirota has been hot, having posted two or more aces the last five times she's played.

Chelsea's loss dropped their record down to 3-15. As for Swampscott, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-6 record this season.

Chelsea does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Swampscott, they will welcome Saugus at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
