Football Recap: Hanover Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Hanover entered their game against Highland Springs on Friday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Hawks fell just short of the Springers by a score of 30-27. While losing is never fun, the Hawks can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Virginia football rankings (they are ranked 71st, while the Springers are ranked fourth).

Highland Springs found their leader in sophomore Devlin Davis, who rushed for 104 yards and a pair of TDs on only 14 carries.

Hanover's defeat dropped their record down to 7-3. As for Highland Springs, they pushed their record up to 7-3 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road.

As of now, neither Hanover nor the Springers have any future games scheduled.
