Basketball Recap: Lookout Valley Comes Up Short

Lookout Valley lost against Sale Creek back in February and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Yellowjackets took a 61-47 bruising from the Panthers. The Yellowjackets were down 52-31 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.

Sale Creek got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Cooper Bailey out in front who posted 18 points. Those 18 points gave Bailey a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Jackson Freeman, who earned 14 points.

Lookout Valley's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Sale Creek, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-4.

Lookout Valley wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 90-52 defeat against CSTHEA on the 9th. As for Sale Creek, they have also already played their next contest, a 66-46 loss against Meigs County on the 5th.
