Basketball Recap: Burrillville Takes a Loss

Burrillville lost against North Providence back in February of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Burrillville Broncos fell 44-35 to the North Providence Cougars.

Elyse Brassard was the offensive standout of the game as she posted seven points along with 11 rebounds and four blocks. Those four blocks gave her a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Riddhi Mistry, who earned six points in addition to seven steals and five boards.

Burrillville's defeat dropped their record down to 9-6. As for North Providence, their win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 8-4.

Burrillville will head out to take on Prout at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for North Providence, they will welcome Mt. Pleasant at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. North Providence is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 53.7 points per game this season.
